The Problem Of Building A House Of Worship In The Precepts Of The Almighty Divinity

Abstract

One of the main challenges is the differing views and interpretations regarding regulations and policies for constructing houses of worship. This disparity creates legal uncertainty, which can hinder or even stop the construction of houses of worship. In addition, conflicts of interest between the government, society, and related parties adds complexity to the problem in this context. In the implementation of this research, researchers collected various journal articles and results of conferences or seminars that were indexed and were in the Google Scholar database, Science Direct, Garuda Portal, Sinta Ristekdikti, and Garuda Ristekdikti which had credibility and were recognized by academics. Religion is important in a country that acknowledges the One True Godhead. The state is interested in regulating regulations, including those relating to religious life. State regulation, especially related to spiritual life, is considered an effort or responsibility of the state to protect its citizens. This regulation aims to create order, peace, safety, ethics, morals, and basic rights and freedoms of the community. The relationship between Pancasila and Religion in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is mutually necessary. Religion needs a state based on Pancasila for its development, just as the state needs religion to improve the morals of its nation. Pancasila with the Almighty Godhead is the basis for all state legal policies, including regulating religious life for its citizens. The precepts of Pancasila contain values that are very much in line with the teachings of Islam. Even in the verses of the Qur'an many words of Allah SWT are relevant to the precepts of Pancasila.
